So, I totally changed my layout and need a new banner which I will make off of one of my pretty icons. (Thanks to __sugarkisses__ for the Emma icon!) Using the quick update since I have to finish my English homeowork. It's pretty damn cool, if I do say so myself.

Hello everyone!

So, nothing terribly new in my life. I got a hair cut. It's layered andi like it a lot.

My dear friend, anolinde, is still having trouble with her stalker pal, who seriously creeps me out.

Hmm, I had pointe on Friday, with my new pointe shoes and now my toes kill. Seriously, I felt like someone was trying to pull out my toenails. It sucked. No blisters though. I don't like breaking in new shoes. At all.

I don't think anything has really gone out of order in my life, so it's kind of boring. But I like it, it's peaceful.

So, my friend anolinde made a very quick and very expressive graphic in the span of two mintues. I am gonig to post it here because I happen to, at this moment, agree whole heartedly, as you can see by my earlier post.

Why yes, I am totally sane.

WHY IN THE NAME OFTHE GODS WOULD THEY PUT BASEBALL ON CHANNEL FIVE INSTEAD OF LOST? WHO CARES ABOUT BASEBALL? THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST THREE CHANNELS DEDICATED SOLELY TO BASEBALL SO THE REST OF US CAN WATCH OUR SHOWS PEACEFULLY AND WITHOUT STUPID BASEBALL SCREWING IT UP.

As you can see, I am deeply offended by this outrageous show of rudeness.

And I am never watching baseball again.

So. On Saturday, I got new pointe shoes. They were beautiful, perfect, not to mention shiny and satiny. I haven't even sewn the ribbons on yet. I don't want to anymore. I accidentaly left them on the floor last night because I was going to sew on the matching ribbons and I didn't get around to it. This morning my mom shows me my beautiful pointe shoes - only something's wrong.

The toe of one of the shoes is horribly scratched and destroyed because my brother's stupid dog thought it was a new play thing. I know this is partially my fault because I didn't put the damn things away last night, but that didn't stop me from being mad. So, not even ten minutes ago, I took them out again because I thought I'd recovered enough to sew everything together.

Apparently not.

I can't brign myself to do anything to them and instead I start to cry, while running my fingers along all the awful scratches. I am turned away from my brother, who is reading HBP. He asks me,

"Who's Bill?" because he's just the kind of person who totally forget these simple things. I can't answer because me throat is all clogged like it gets when you're crying.

He keeps asking me until finally he gets fed up and says,

"Will you stop feeling your ballet shoe?!"

I am totally hurt by this since he should know how much new dance shoes mean to me and pack up my things and go up to my room. And here I am, telling you all this, still sniffing and reaching blindly for tissues.

This just goes to show you that sometimes, when you ned the sympathy most, people give you a good slap to the head instead. I shouldn't be surprised, should I?
